About Us
We are a family owned and operated small business based in Charters Towers North QLD. Charters Towers is uniquely situated to allow us to service not only the local community but the rural and remote customers spanning the Dalrymple shire and beyond.
NSEW Electrical was established in 2011 and as a family run business, we strive to employ a highly qualified team that thrive on the challenges of the ever-changing electrical industry. It is important to us that our customers know that we are always trying to achieve the best individual outcome. We pride ourselves in our teamwork, work ethic and the final overall look of the completed job and work area.
OUR TEAM
Leroy Brown
Leroy is the big boss of NSEW Electrical. He is very passionate about the electrical industry, and he enjoys the mentoring and training side of the industry. He has a knack for all things electrically complicated. Leroy background comes from nearly 20 years in various sections within Ergon Energy.
Something you may not know about Leroy
Leroy has ridden Saddle Bronc’s in Australia. He has walked with loins in Zimbabwe, sung Karaoke in Japan, mountain biked at Whistler in Canada and explored Waitomo Caves in New Zealand.

Graham
SENIOR ELECTRICIAN
Graham is our most experienced electrician. He has been on the job for a number of years and is an expert in all domestic situations. If you have an issue with lights and power then he is your man. In his spare time, he can be found in tinkering in his shed and brushing up on his war history knowledge. Graham is more than just a valued employee after just having notched up 10 years with NSEW Electrical.

Graham was invited and participated in a re-enactment for the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo in Belgium in 2015.
Kieran
3RD YEAR APPRENTICE
Kieran is another of our dedicated 3rd year apprentices. During the weekends, you'll often find him engaged in a range of activities, such as skiing on the water with his friends, working cattle in the yards, or enjoying quality time at home with his family. Kieran truly appreciates the diverse range of tasks he gets to tackle at NSEW, with a particular liking for the exciting out of town jobs.
Something you may not know about Keiran
Kieran went with his Dad for a Sunday arvo drive, followed a detour sign and arrived home after 2500km. Kieran clocked up his hours for his learner’s licence in a hurry.
Jack
3RD YEAR APPRENTICE
Jack is our 3rd year apprentice at NSEW Electrical, who loves cracking a good Dad Joke or two around the job sites. On weekends, you can find him camping at the river with his mates or tearing up the trails on his motorbike. Jack enjoys the variety of jobs that we do at NSEW has a love for servicing the rural properties and assisting them with all their electrical needs.

Jack has both of his kidneys on the left side of his body!
Annette
OFFICE MANAGER
Annette is the first point of contact for NSEW Electrical. Annette manages the day to day running of the office and makes sure that the electricians have themselves organised for the day.
Something you may not know about Annette
Annette is not an electrician so she can’t answer any of your technical questions and she is not Leroy’s wife.
